DESIGN PACKAGES
At Fig Landscapes, we strive to give our clients a garden that not only represents their lifestyle, but enriches their way of life. Our aim is to help you through all stages of the design process, from initial consultation to final garden installation and ongoing garden maintenance. The Fig Landscapes design packages are outlined below and include partial landscape design, complete landscape design and consultation only.
FIG LANDSCAPES DESIGN PACKAGES
This design service suits clients not wanting a full design, but needing ideas for their space. This package includes a 1 hour consultation with Grant which will take place on-site in Brisbane, Gold Coast and Northern Rivers and a virtual appointment for all other areas.
What we require from you:
- Book a consultation time that suits, please note that payment of this service is required upon booking.
- Please take a few minutes to fill out the questionnaire on your project.
- Provide any architectural drawings, site survey, pictures and video of the space if available.
Following your consultation, you will receive:
- A written recap of elements discussed during your consultation.
- Moodboard of agreed upon design elements.
- Planting palette.
- Materials palette.
What is NOT included:
- 2D or 3D design drawings or concept plan.
- Any ongoing advice or support.
- Quote for installation.
This design service suits clients wanting a partial design, either front facade or back garden design.
What we require from you:
- Please take a few minutes to fill out the questionnaire on your project.
- Provide any architectural drawings and site survey.
- A 50% deposit is required prior to commencement of your design.
What you will receive initially:
- On-site consultation with Grant to assess your project requirements.
- Following your consultation, you will be sent (via email) a detailed and scaled 3D design of the space for you to review.
- One revision is allowed. If you require additional changes, we will quote to you prior to commencement.
Following confirmation of your design, you will receive:
- On-site meeting with Grant to explain your design in detail.
- 3D design of the space, designed in detail and to scale.
- 2D concept plan of the external space, designed to scale with placement of all elements.
- Set-out plan suitable for construction.
- Moodboard explaining all design aspects.
- Materials palette.
- Planting palette.
Quote for installation:
Following approval of your landscape package, Grant will arrange an appointment to handover a quote and estimate for the construction of your new garden.
This design service suits clients wanting a complete landscape design package, both small and large-scale residential and commercial properties.
What we require from you:
- Please take a few minutes to fill out the questionnaire on your project.
- Provide any architectural drawings and site survey.
- A 50% deposit is required prior to commencement of your design.
What you will receive initially:

WE DESIGN & BUILD OUTDOOR SPACES
THE DESIGN PROCESS
Design and build your dream garden with Fig Landscapes. Our aim is to help you through all stages of the design process, from initial consultation to final garden installation and ongoing garden maintenance (if needed). The Fig Landscapes design process is outlined below from start to finish. Although each project’s requirements may differ, all projects start with a Concept Design.
THE DESIGN PROCESS FROM START TO FINISH
STEP 1
INITIAL CONSULTATION
Please take a few minutes to fill out the book a consultation form and Grant will then arrange an on-site consultation to discuss the possibilities of your project.
Following your consultation, Grant will determine the fees for your garden design and send you a Landscape Design Fee Proposal via email for your approval.
STEP 2
GARDEN DESIGN
Prior to the commencement of your design, we will require any existing architectural drawings and/or pictures and video of the space. Upon review of this information, a design fee proposal will be sent to you for approval. Once approved, a 50% deposit is also required.
A series of visual aids, along with a 3D design will be sent to you via email in order to clarify general mood, proposed materials to be used, planting schemes and structural elements.
One revision is included in the cost of your design and can be made at this stage of the design process. If you require additional changes, we will quote to you prior to commencement.
STEP 3
LANDSCAPE CONCEPT PLAN
Following confirmation of your 3D design, Fig Landscapes will work to prepare your landscape plans which include a detailed 2D landscape plan, a plant and material palette, a preliminary plant schedule along with 3D elevation details and any documents required for council approval.
Please note that creating your concept plan takes around 6 weeks from approval of your 3D drawings. Grant will then send your final invoice for payment and will arrange a meeting to review the concept plan and discuss all design elements in detail.
STEP 4
QUOTE FOR INSTALLATION
Following approval of your landscape concept design, Grant will arrange another appointment to handover a quote and estimate for the construction of your new garden.

You have design questions? We have answers.Fig Landscapes is currently taking on design projects all around Australia. Fig Landscapes is based in the Byron shire and will arrange on-site appointments within Northern NSW and Southern QLD and virtual or on-site consultations (if required) for projects in other states.
Landscape concept designs often take around 6 weeks from initial consultation to complete.
At present, Fig Landscapes are currently only quoting to construct jobs within Northern NSW and Southern QLD.
The cost of your initial consultation is covered within your project fee proposal. If you decide that you do not wish to proceed with a design, you will be charged for a the site consultation at $120/hour.
